Hello, and welcome to Mellvon.

I was always short on sleep and overwhelmed by an endless mountain of tasks.
I kept telling myself to go to bed early, but realistically — I never did.
So instead, I wanted to make the most of the sleep I could get.

A friend of mine—an aromatherapist—once made me a diffuser with lavender oil.
It did help with sleep, but what surprised me even more was the scent itself.

It was unlike any diffuser I’d used before — fresh, earthy, and somehow alive.
Unlike artificial fragrances that linger heavily in the air,
this one appeared and faded softly, almost as if it were breathing.
There was something healing about it — gentle, comforting, and real.
I often found myself leaning in, taking quiet breaths just to feel it again.

But finding a reed diffuser made with real essential oils was nearly impossible.
And the few I did find were filled with alcohol — sharp and overpowering.

So I wanted to create something different —
a diffuser that felt like a small gift to myself at the end of each day,
a gentle ritual to honor rest.

I hoped others could experience the true beauty of aromatherapy —
and more than anything, I wanted people to find deeper rest.
Now, I believe deeper rest begins with the breath.

 

That’s why I started Mellvon.
